CDS queries over 24h

In 2022, CDS celebrates its 50th anniversary. The main CDS services, SIMBAD, VizieR and Aladin receive on average two million queries per day, originating from locations distributed all over the globe, as can be seen in this animation visualizing 24 hours of usage for February 10, 2022. Dots correspond to the geographic locations of IP addresses querying the services, with different colours used for SIMBAD, VizieR and Aladin queries.
